Viper Nation, please join us in congratulating our VIPer of the Month for February: Mr. Cleigh Gordon, TV Production Teacher! 💜🎉🖤
Mr. Gordon goes above and beyond for his students each and every day, both inside and outside of the classroom. We are truly blessed to have him as one of our CTE teachers leading the way in TV Production, Snake Pit Studios. Every morning across campus, we begin our day with Viper News, and each broadcast is guided by Mr. Gordon. Through this experience, his students gain hands-on skills in recording, editing, and journalism as they produce daily news content for Viper Nation.
The Snake Pit Studios crew consistently highlights the incredible things happening at Space Coast Jr/Sr High. Mr. Gordon and his students work tirelessly to ensure all sports, clubs, and school events are represented, not only on the morning news, but across our social media platforms.
This year, Mr. Gordon has gone above and beyond, covering events at Space Coast and even supporting Brevard Public Schools (official) at the district level. His work has been so impactful that the District’s Government and Community Relations team has invited Mr. Gordon and his students to assist with district messaging, elevating student voice across the county.
At the start of this school year, Mr. Gordon was also asked to partner with administration to support school social media and he jumped at the opportunity without missing a beat. He does a phenomenal job showcasing all the great things happening at SCHS, and we are incredibly thankful to have him as part of our Viper Family.
