🍻Brewfest. Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s 7th Annual Brewfest, will quench your thirst with fine craft brews this summer! The festival will be held in McEuen Park on July 6 from 1 PM – 7 PM. The event will feature a wide variety of beer and ciders, a great selection of food, yard games, and live music in the best venue in town! Plenty of Non- Alcoholic Options as well. FAMILY FRIENDLY.

Admission is free for designated drivers and children – who must be accompanied by a ticket holder. We ask that you bring service animals only.

We'll be open Friday through Monday for a bit, the usual 7 am to 2pm, until we can get some people hired and trained. We'll serve only breakfast for a month or so, and then we’ll bring out a new lunch menu.

My husband loves to fly fish, but with all of life's demands, he doesn't go as often as he'd like. So over the years we've made it a point to AT LEAST get him up the Coeur d'Alene River on Father's Day. They're some of my favorite memories.

CDA LOCALS! Anyone else navigating "end of the school year chaos?" Or as my friends of littles like to say- "Professional Field Trip Season?" 😂
We've got just the antidote.
Go see & the wonderful people to relieve some stress & treat your body (and mind) to some relaxation.
After taking some time to explore other things,
CDA LOCAL IS BACK! As mentioned, Claire is now a full time yoga instructor at and I (Sarah) will continue creating content for this page.
I'm so excited to continue to host conversations here that highlight small business & share local insights. Stories that connect.
So where are we at today? On this gloomy June day in downtown cda...School's (almost) out for Summer. And we're dreaming about the adventures that await.
Top things on my families list:
1. Do our annual trip to Hayden Lake
2. Pack Picnics to enjoy down at Sanders Beach
3. Visit on Priest
Also- really hoping to do some huckleberry picking and river floating... It's hard to narrow it down! So many fun things to choose from.
