This weeks life update brought to you in a post.

Motherhood has felt heavy this season but I can feel God speaking to me through all the highs and lows (especially the lows when I feel incredibly defeated and isolated in this season. I’m learning to seek Him more through this season)

Our God is loving, graceful, forgiving.
This is going to completely be a God year for me and all the years to follow.

Through all the ups and downs of life, doubts and questioning of God was with me. I’ve learned that he has always been with me.

Protected me in my childhood, my teenage years and has taught me so many lessons into adulthood.

God is Faithful. He is True.
He loves each and every one of us, his children and his heart breaks when we are hurting and when we reject him.

This is the year of change.
My goals are to read more of Gods word each and every day and fill up my heart and soul with Him. To be an example to my family, my children so that they can see Jesus in our lives.

I will praise him in every moment, good and hard. I will thank him for every blessing and every struggle.

I’m so excited to see what God will show me this year.

Pumpkin Night! I always love having all of us at the table together. In this season of life it’s important for us to make time for these moments.

Spending my days with this sweet boy are such a blessing. I’m so grateful for all the hard work does every day so that we can have these days and moments.

My oldest isn’t the easiest to snap a photo of anymore but I wish I could capture more moments with him. I feel like these days are fleeting and going by too quickly.
My boy. The one who first made a me a mama. I love you to the moon and back forever and always.

I love and adore both my boys so much. Tween and toddler years are definitely not easy. And I’m experiencing both simultaneously. Sibling rivalry is only beginning. Blended family life is always keeping us on our toes.
But I know God is with you both and with each of us through every rocky tumble and every bright day.

Blended families aren’t always simple. And that’s okay, as long as you’re always open, honest, loving and there for each other and God is the center of your family and household.

God always has a plan, he knows your todays and tomorrows and he will carry you through.

In the whirlwinds of life, the chaos all around us, God paints these extravagant pieces of art for us. Most of the time we find ourselves too busy to stop and really admire all that He has created. We forget to enjoy the blessings He has given us.

Maybe it’s sacrificing a little sleep to see the Northern lights, maybe it’s reading that one more story at bedtime, or a “hey mom check this out,” from your tween/teen as you’re peaking your head into their room to check on them, and you make dinner a little late because what they showed you mattered to them. Perhaps it’s a late night conversation with your spouse to make up for all the rushed mornings getting everyone ready for work, school and activities because it didn’t used to be so busy.

Don’t miss what’s really important. Don’t miss the beautiful things.

Happy national son’s day.
These boys are our biggest blessings from God in every way.
They have the biggest hearts, they test our patience. They’re wild, fun and test their limits daily.
The love I have for them is immeasurable and unbreakable.
I thank God for each of them every single day and I hope to always be the mama they need and deserve.

This boy has the biggest heart, filled with so much love. He gave me the biggest hug and thanked me for his fun “preschool” lessons today.
He’s so excited to learn and do so many things.

Let the homeschool adventure begin. Simple lessons, books and more books and lots of play together.
