New spells are upon us—three new offerings of dark dungeon music and dark ambient, released in observance of the August full moon. These are not pre-orders and will begin shipping as early as next week.
Endless thanks to everyone for your continued support. Digital versions will be available for streaming in the coming days, along with a few additional items being added to the shop.
As it happens, today also marks my birthday—so consider this a small celebration as well.
SPELL.023 Spectral Fir’s debut, "The Mist Cloaked Kingdom of the North", is a cold descent into forgotten alpine desolation. Inspired by the shadowed forests and stillness of North Idaho’s far north, it conjures a realm where ancient thrones rot beneath lichen and mist. Steeped in dread and high fantasy ruin, its dark dungeon synth echoes with sorrow, silence, and the weight of kingdoms long dead.
SPELL.024 Black Cavern's "Mātu Šaplītu (Meditations)" is a reinterpretation of the original debut—an immersive descent into the mythic underworld, inspired by ancient Near Eastern mythology. This ritual ambient edition exhumes three meditations from the original B-side of the first pressing, now accompanied by a fourth, previously unreleased invocation influenced by Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Together, they summon an atmosphere of solemn decay and aural mysticism.
SPELL.025 Kharsaanu Saquutu - "Kadingir". This dark, droney forest synth album weaves dense layers of atmospheric sound—like mist-shrouded temples hidden beneath towering evergreens. Mysterious and otherworldly, "Kadingir" evokes a forgotten world where primeval nature and mythic gods intertwine, crafting an unsettling yet immersive sonic journey into the unknown.
