Quick follow-up on our geotextile fabric disaster sagaā¦
After MANY emails, negotiations, and public bashings (especially after Vevor blocked us from leaving an honest review š), they did eventually issue us a full refund for the product.
Of course, by that point, we had already given up hope of returning it and spent TWO WEEKS wrestling with the unraveling mess just to get everything back down. So while we canāt get that time and frustration back, at least we didnāt have to pay for the misery!
We just wanted to update everyone and say THANK YOU for all of the advice, encouragement, prayers, and shared experiences. It honestly helped more than you know.
And for anyone else dealing with a product that is not as advertised: donāt give up. Keep documenting everything, keep emailing, and keep pushing for accountability. Sometimes persistence actually pays off.
And I feel the need to clarify some assumptions that were made about our first postā¦.
Yes- we have done this before- more than once
Yes- we know to burn the cut edges - that wasnāt the side that was unraveling.
Yes-we know all too well how hard farming is. We do it everyday.
Yes- we know we bought cheap(er) product! Lesson Learned!
Yes- we know to overlap and use more substantial staking. The pics were not at all of a finished product.
Assumptions and all - we love all of the genuine feedback and conversation.
And hey, at least Hank enjoyed the process! š¤£
