EXT. SWAMP — DAY
A MURKY HAZE hangs low in the cypress trees. Moss hangs low on the dirt road. Alligators lurk just beneath the green water. Birds CALL and mosquitos BUZZ.
The lean and lanky JAY GRAY loads a large truck with thousands of CATS - big, small, black, white, gray, and orange. Small patches of gray hair poke from beneath his black hooded jacket.
His pale grey eyes narrow into thin black lines, and his yellow teeth show as he chuckles to himself and sings to the Cats.

(singing)
KATIE, KATIE way too tall
KATIE, KATTIE watch her fall.
KATIE, KATTIE come out to play
He rubs his blue-grey hands together as he sings.

(singing)
KATIE, KATIE let's ruin her day.
His lips curl into a crooked smile that fills his entire face.
