Keep Pressing On, Sisters!
In our journey through life, as women of color, we often encounter unique challenges and obstacles that try to hinder our progress. But let me remind you, my sisters, to keep pressing on, reaching for higher ground. Nothing and no one can stand in your way when you have the power of God within you. The Word of God encourages us in Philippians 3:14 (NIV), "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Let us fix our gaze on that prize and press forward with unwavering determination.

The strength of our minds, when infused with the truth of God's Word, can liberate us from the chains of our past. Take a moment to search deep within yourself, and you will find that the time for transformation has arrived. Romans 12:2 (NIV) assures us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Embrace the freedom that comes from aligning your thoughts with God's truth. Step into the fullness of who you were created to be.

Life may throw countless ups and downs our way, but we shall not be shaken. As women of color, it is vital for us to stand firmly on solid ground—grounded in the unchanging truth of God's Word. Let Psalm 18:2 (NIV) be our anchor: "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." By immersing ourselves in God's unshakeable promises, we can overcome every obstacle and triumph over adversity.

Remember, sisters, the sky is the limit for those who trust in the Lord and keep pressing on. God has placed dreams, desires, and untapped potential within each of us. As we persistently strive to reach our goals, let us be reminded that our strength comes from Him. In Matthew 19:26 (NIV), Jesus affirms, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Embrace His power within you, and continue pressing forward, for your journey is not in vain.

So, my beloved and beautiful sisters of color, I charge you: Do not give up! Keep pressing on, for you are not alone. God walks alongside you, empowering you, guiding you, and strengthening you. Remember, the race is not for the swift but for those who endure till the end (Ecclesiastes 9:11). In moments of weariness, doubt, or discouragement, find solace in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Let us pray: Heavenly Father, grant us the endurance to press on, even when faced with adversity. Fill us with Your unwavering strength and remind us of Your promises. May we always fix our eyes on You and trust in Your boundless love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
