Corona/Summer 2020 edit for Bar MC Media. 🎥 Didn’t get to the events we “planned” on going to this year, but the unexpected ones are always the most fun. We put the hammer down on a black buck and chased gobbling turkeys. We also reeled in big red snapper down in south Louisiana and even got back to our roots and snuck in a little PBR and ranch rodeo action. Today we remember those taken by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. It’s hard to find the words to describe Danny Foley. We met Danny in November of last year at the Thumbtack Ranch while shooting footage for the Bucks for the Brave event. At the time, he was suffering from 9/11 related pancreatic cancer caused by the toxic air of Ground Zero. He shared stories around the camp fire of his service as part of FDNY’s search and rescue response after the September 11 attacks. Danny lost his firefighter brother, Tom, and had carried his body from the rubble. We heard the news of Danny’s passing on February 22, 2020 at 46 years of age. Danny was one of the most devote Christians we have ever met and truly shined as an example of what true faith and patriotism looks like. Although we didn’t have much time with him, he made a significant impact on both of our lives and he will be missed very much. 🇺🇸 #Remember911

Meet Meagan McElya and Brandon McDow, the people behind Bar MC Media. We create video and photo content, specializing in rodeo events, hunting/fishing industry, wildlife, and ranch/rural real estate. We also offer consulting services for social media marketing and website development. We are based in College Station, Texas but are willing to travel!
I am a fifth-generation Texan and avid outdoorsman. Growing up in Goliad, the heart of South Texas, my life was built around the ranching and farming lifestyle. After earning a degree in Agricultural Engineering and Technology from Sam Houston State University, I searched for a way to apply my knowledge and grow from that foundation. Which brought forth the birth of Bar Mc Media.
My journey started in 2009 as the photographer and sports editor for the Angleton High School yearbook team, and I have discovered my passion for visual storytelling along the way. Since then, I have captured action photography under Simply Photography by Meagan, studied techniques as a student at Texas A&M University, held the position of Editor-in-Chief for the AgriLife Magazine, and I recently decided to also start pursuing videography as a new adventure with Brandon.
