University of Oklahoma RaXPol- Preliminary data from OU RaXPol of Tulia TX supercell taken at 6:08:59pm CDT. Very strong meso; note weak echo hole & couplet that could be a tornadic vortex. Suggests the long-track, weather-spotter-confirmed large tornado was actually just a large meso w/ occasional touchdowns. RaXPol images from Tulia proper because they were scanning when I passed. The photo is from 7 miles southwest of Tulia as the storm was approaching. Very logical conclusion, in my opinion, based on personal observation of the evolution. ~Bob

Found myself face to face with some twisting wind today. Had to get out of the way of one as it was yards away coming at me and had to turn around on a narrow highway. Those would have been the best shots but these will do.
