In honor of National Tight End Day; who should be considered Tight End University?

As of right now, based on careers, Miami should be considered the top candidate. Iowa would be a close second. This is very similar to the Wide Receiver University debate between Ohio State and LSU. It really could come down to preference as the answer between the two for either list and that would be the correct answer.

As of right now…no one is a clear front runner for the Heisman. There are a few players having really good years, looking at you Simpson and Sayin, but no one that has set themselves apart. I’d argue that even though I mentioned two names, it’s very possible they don’t even end up in New York as finalists depending on how the season plays out, unlikely but possible.

This isn’t the type of year where it’s wide open because there’s a bunch of names playing at a high level and making people take notice; almost the exact opposite, there are some playing at a high level but their play and their teams play does not jump on the page to make you take notice.

This truly feels like a changing of the guard type of season in a lot of ways for college football. And. I. Love. It.
