What types of media do you need converted to digital?

The picture shows Video 8, Hi8, and Digital 8 tapes. These tapes were used primarily between mid-1980s and late 2000s before they were phased out by other media. They come in multiple playback speeds and qualities (LP and SP). They come in multiple different formats as well (NTSC, PAL, Video 8, Hi8, Digital)

We convert all types of 8mm tapes. The base pricing is $10 per tape to convert to digital. This doesn’t include how you want your files returned or any discounts that we typically add to order totals.

What types of media do you need converted to digital?

The picture shows examples of Super 8, 8mm, and 16mm film reels. These types of media were used from the early 1900s all the way through the 1980s when they were eventually replaced with VHS tapes and other types of video and audio media. The majority of 8mm reels are silent, but super 8 and 16mm typically have audio as well as video. Even with their age, they hold up very well through the years as long as they’ve been out of extreme heat and away from moisture which results in mold damage.

We are able to convert all types of 8mm, super 8, and 16mm film reels. Typical pricing is shown below, this doesn’t include how you want your files returned or any discounts that we add to the order total. If you need help getting you old film reels converted to digital, please send us a message!

To digitize 8mm or super 8 reels,
I charge:

-$10 per 3" reel (50')
-$30 per 5" reel (200')
-$60 per 7" reel (400')

To digitize 16mm reels (with or without audio), I charge:

-$20 per 7" reel (400')
-$30 per 10.5" reel (800')
-$40 per 12" reel (1200')
-$60 per 14” reel (1600’)

They come in multiple playback speeds and qualities (EP, LP, and SP). They come in multiple different formats as well (SVHS, SVHS-C, VHS, VHS-C, PAL, SECAM, etc).

We convert all types of VHS and VHS-C tapes. The base pricing is $10 per tape to convert to digital. This doesn’t include how you want your files returned or any discounts that we typically add to order totals.
