Yes, it’s Labor Day and I’ve already started decorating for Halloween. Don’t judge me. 🎃

My Nest Cam alerted me that these two were outside, so I ran over with my phone and caught a momma bobcat and her kitten wandering through the yard.

Apparently the skeleton wasn’t much of a deterrent. 😂

A whole raccoon family wandered through the yard overnight, taking their time checking everything out before moving along. 🦝

This bobcat wandered under the deck, found a spot he liked, and apparently decided to leave his calling card.

Woke up to this absolute unit wandering below the deck overnight. 🐻

Definitely one of the biggest bears I’ve caught around the house.

This turkey spotted the camera from across the driveway and slowly made his way straight toward it. By the end, he was close enough to take his own profile picture. 🦃

She was just passing through until she noticed me recording. Then she stopped, stared for a few seconds, and made sure I knew she saw me.

This cub was happily wandering around the backyard and didn’t notice me at all… until I closed the basement door.

That definitely got his attention.

This bobcat stopped dead in its tracks and locked eyes with me for a few seconds before deciding I wasn’t worth the trouble.

Two bear cubs turned the yard into a full obstacle course — sprinting past the camera, climbing trees, running onto the deck, and circling back again while I walked out to watch the chaos below.

A few minutes after I chased them off the deck…

They relocated about 20 feet and went right back to being bears.

Safe to say they recovered quickly.
