Your business may not need another offer.

It may need you to stop turning every good idea into one.

Some of the most expensive business decisions don’t look reckless. They look decisive.

They happen quickly.

They’re wrapped in urgency.
They sound strategic.
They come with a deadline.
And they often carry one unspoken message:

If you don’t move now, you’ll lose it.

That sentence has influenced more business decisions than many leaders would probably like to admit.

I’ve been thinking about how easily pressure can borrow the language of opportunity.

And how, in those moments, the real leadership test may not be whether you can make a decision quickly.

It may be whether you can remain clear enough to recognize what is driving the decision.

Faith?
Fear?
Ego?
Scarcity?
Peace?
The need to prove something?
The discomfort of letting an opportunity pass?

Because discernment gets difficult when your emotions have already decided what they want the answer to be.

In this episode of The Estherpreneur Podcast, I unpack some decisions I made under pressure and what they exposed about timing, leadership, and the difference between an open door and a door you feel rushed to walk through.

I’m asking a different question now:

“What is this opportunity requiring me to ignore in order to say yes?”

My peace?
My discernment?
A red flag?
Wise counsel?
The pace God has actually given me?

Because some opportunities are only attractive when you silence the part of you that knows better.

And that’s the part I’m no longer willing to override.
