Didn’t realize I never posted this from the beginning of May when I was out in New Orleans!

I was HYPE about this in general, but as a person that works in healthcare, I was SUPER HYPE! I met Shaq from A&E Nightwatch. The show that made me reconsider going back to school to being an EMT/Paramedic. I have so much respect and love for first responders. This picture means more to me than any picture I’ve taken with Tech N9ne, Method Man, Rakim, and even meeting Dale Earnhardt. First responders and anyone that puts their life on the line for strangers, to me, they are the greatest souls on this earth. Thank you for all that you do! Yall have saved my life, and helped so many. First responders and health care workers will always be people I admire, respect and who I will always support. Thank you all for the work you do! thank you for all you do and the few moments of letting me fan girl 😂

Oh, and yes, I asked about she was in a different area 😂 I’ll be rewatching this show again now. Hopefully new episodes come soon! 🤞🏽

I know I’m not the best, but I know I’m solid. Whether it’s 5, 500 or 5,000 ppl, you do your best and showcase your range and skills. Right now, I feel I’m completing the best set I’ve done in a year. Latin, 80s, 90s, new, old, classics, Latin, hiphop, cumbia, pop, rock, country, funk, R&B and whatever else I was feeling. Bars give give you the opportunity to play what you feel is best. In clubs you don’t always have the same freedom . Tonight I gained back some of the confidence that I lost since leaving downtown over a year ago. To me, self love is more important than the love/support you get from others. Since I’ve left downtown, I feel ALL of my “ppl” or “supporters” kicked me to the curb and believed whatever BS was said about me. Only maybe 3-5 ppl have come out to show me any support or love in my new locations, and that’s fine. Maybe I’m a horrible DJ or horrible person, I honestly don’t know, but at least right now, in this moment, I feel okay if died tomorrow and left all those bullsht behind, I’m good with that(DJ career wise.) Honestly, my resume speaks for itself and I have nothing else to prove. 🫡

So on that note….. I’ll see you all June 13th and one night in September. Other than that, I’m good on this “DJ Life.” I’ll continue to be at and doing shows here and there, until they feel it’s time to move on, maybe.
