👑 A new Silver Queen has been crowned!

Sangre de Cristo Community Care celebrated its 51st Silver Queen pageant and luncheon at the Pueblo Country Club on Sept. 17.

From 45 inspiring nominees, 11 finalists were chosen. Congratulations to:
✨Miss Congeniality — Betty Teel, 95
✨ First Runner-Up — Barbara Timock, 103
✨ 2025 Silver Queen — Carole Ricotta, 89 of Pueblo!

Carole devoted 62 years to education as a teacher and principal, earned a doctorate from CU, and continues to serve her community through Meals on Wheels, Catholic women’s groups and as Resident Council President.

Her wish as Silver Queen: “to honor women whose cherished memories may have faded.” 💙
