Light Pillars in Pueblo Colorado tonight !
Light pillars are vertical beams of light that appear to extend above or below a light source, caused by the reflection of light off millions of tiny, flat, hexagon-shaped ice crystals suspended in cold air. These crystals act like mirrors, reflecting artificial light or natural light (sun/moon) to create the optical illusion.

Key Conditions: They require extremely cold, calm nights, often with temperatures well below freezing, which allows for ice crystals (like light snow or diamond dust) to form in the lower atmosphere.

I went to the Ice Castles in Cripple Creek today❄️❄️❄️❄️
Around $30 a ticket, tickets are timed entries bought online. Once your inside you can stay as long as you want. There’s even a few ice slides 🛝 but i skipped sliding down those. Definitely worth a visit if your near Cripple Creek!

I love this little area. So many shops and restaurants! Had dinner at Thunder & Buttons restaurant (the best Elk chili is here) and stopped in the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for dessert 😍
