💜 We’re honored to be partnering with Good Grief Group 💜

Grief doesn’t take a holiday break—and neither does the need for connection, creativity, and safe spaces to heal.

On December 29, Good Grief Group is hosting a Holiday Grief Day Camp here in Kalispell, and Hug Rocks will be one of the activities alongside many other meaningful, hands-on ways to express and process grief.

This day is open to individuals and families of all ages, whether your loss is recent or something you’ve carried quietly for years. It’s a place to be seen, supported, and reminded you don’t have to walk through grief alone.

✨ Important:
Please call ahead to request an application—registration is required.

📅 December 29 | 10am–4pm
📍 Kalispell
📞 406-755-6760

Good Grief Group also offers overnight summer camps, which are incredibly special and impactful for kids, teens, and families navigating loss.

There are a lot of hurting hearts out there. If this feels like something you—or someone you love—might need, please share this. Sometimes the bravest step is simply showing up. 🤍

🌍✨ Hug Rocks on the move!
These two little friends have officially made it all the way to Puerto Rico… and this sandy beach is where their journey continues. 💛

If you find one, I hope it reminds you that you’re seen, loved, and never alone. And just maybe… you’ll pass that kindness on.

Hug Rocks — creating ripple effects of kindness around the world. 💕

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃 🍽

Hey friends… it’s me, the little slice of pumpkin pie who’s been sitting on this table longer than anyone can remember.

Year after year, I’ve watched this family gather around me — through seasons of laughter, heartache, reunion, and distance. I’ve seen the way love can fill a room… and the way silence can sit heavier than any dessert.

I’ve watched chairs change.
Some are empty now because those precious souls are no longer with us.
Their absence aches deeply, especially today.
But their love still lingers here — in the stories, the recipes, the memories that soften the edges of grief.

And then… there are the other empty chairs.
The ones left open by hurt, misunderstanding, pride, or wounds that never quite healed.
The ones belonging to people who needed space… or never found the courage to walk back in the door.
I hold space for them, too.

Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned after all these years on this table, it’s this:

Families are messy.
Love is complicated.
Feelings run deep.
And forgiveness — though hard — is sweeter than anything you’ll ever taste.

So as you gather today, I hope you look around with soft eyes.
I hope you honor the ones who aren’t here… for whatever reason.
I hope you remember that every seat tells a story —
and every story matters.

And if this little slice can whisper anything into the heart of this holiday, it’s this:

May gratitude widen the table.
May grace open the door.
May forgiveness find its way into the places that feel stuck.
And may love always keep a seat saved…
for every single one of us.

Happy Thanksgiving, from your faithful little piece of pumpkin pie.
The one that’s been here through it all — and will be here for years to come. 🧡🥧

Advice from a Hug Rock:

Hey friends… as we’re heading into Thanksgiving week, I’ve got just a little bit of advice.
This season — from now clear through the end of the year — can stir up a lot for many of us.
Families, or the lack of family… joy mixed with ache… full tables and empty chairs…
and the quiet sting of hurts we haven’t yet figured out how to heal.

Some people will be absent from the table this year —
some because they’re truly gone, and some because of wounds that were never mended.
Both kinds of empty seats can be tender.

So here’s my gentle reminder, from one small rock with a big heart:

Time is short.
Love is precious.
And even the smallest step toward forgiveness can soften an entire season.

You don’t have to fix everything.
You don’t have to pretend everything’s okay.
Just open your heart a little and let grace breathe in.

If you carry me into this holiday stretch,
let me whisper this to you every time you see me:

Let love speak louder than old wounds.
Let compassion lead.
And let your heart stay open — even just a little.

I’m right here in your pocket.
We’ll walk through this season together. 🧡🍂

💛 Hug Rocks for the Mayo Clinic 💛

My heart is full this morning! These Hug Rocks are headed to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota with our dear friend Darcy.

Each one has been prayed over, painted with love, and filled with words of encouragement to bring hope to patients, families, and staff.

A huge thank-you to everyone who rallied to help get these finished in time — your helping hands and kind hearts made this possible! 💕

We’re also asking for continued prayers for Darcy — for peace, strength, and a great outcome as her doctors help her heal. 🙏

💜September is Su***de Awareness Month.
These four letters — H-E-L-P — can feel impossible to say. For many, asking for help carries fear, shame, or the lie that it means weakness. But in truth, saying help is one of the bravest things a person can do.

Through Hug Rocks, we want to change the stigma around those four letters. HELP = Hope. Empathy. Love. People.

💬 Let’s talk about the hard stuff. Mental health. Loneliness. Struggles we’re scared to say out loud. Because silence isolates, but conversation connects.

And let’s not limit awareness to a single month. Let’s make every day Su***de Awareness Day. Every day is a chance to remind someone they matter, to reach out, or to reach in when someone comes to mind.

💜 You are seen. You are loved. You are not alone.
💜 If you or someone you know is in crisis, please dial 988 (Su***de & Crisis Lifeline).

Together, we can make help a word of hope, not shame. Together, we create ripple effects of kindness that save lives. 🌊❤️
