Jazmin: Owning my narrative…trusting God’s timing…embracing resilience…and standing fully in who I am.

Each of these books met me where I was and reminded me that growth does not always come wrapped in comfort or applause. From taking control of my story, to trusting the twists in God’s plan, to honoring my identity and understanding the depth of our collective history…every page reinforced that my path does not have to look like anyone else’s to be purposeful.

Reading Master of Me, Bamboozled by Jesus, Finding Me, Barracoon, and Uncommon Favor reminded me that favor, freedom, and fulfillment come from faith, discipline, and the courage to show up as myself…unapologetically. 📚

2025 was a lot… and a lot happened.

Not in a cute highlight reel way… but in a stretching, identity shaking, truth revealing way.
The kind of year that forces you to look at your patterns, your reactions, your power, and your mindset.

These books didn’t just sit on my shelf… they became mental armor.

Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself taught me that I can’t carry old emotions into new seasons and expect a different outcome.
The 48 Laws of Power reminded me that everything doesn’t require a reaction… sometimes silence, observation, and timing are the real flex.
The Four Agreements grounded me in integrity… not taking things personally, being intentional with my words, and releasing assumptions.
The Strangest Secret locked it all in… your thoughts are not harmless… they are instructions.

I’m not rushing into 2026 loud or reckless.
I’m preparing mentally.
I’m choosing awareness over autopilot.
I’m bracing for what’s next with clarity instead of chaos.

Because the next chapter doesn’t need the old version of me…
it needs the conscious one.

Read. Reflect. Rewire.
That’s how you survive the storm and lead what comes next.

$250 Micro Grant alert in the spirit of Giving Tuesday … this is how we give back …

This season has belonged to powerful, educated, visionary Black women … hearing story after story of resilience, self awareness, alignment, entrepreneurship, motherhood, education, healing and every real, unstaged life chapter shared at the mic has been deeply inspiring …

We loved holding space for women telling their truths in real time, pushing past no, building, growing and simply knowing themselves enough to keep going …

We created this platform because stereotypes don’t write our stories … WE do … Black women deserve a safe space to process out loud, to be seen beyond the assumptions, and to tell their own stories in their own voices without dilution …

To every woman who trusted The Collective Experience platform this season … thank you for your honesty, your wisdom, your laughter, your tears, and your truth … we truly enjoyed having you and we want to keep pouring back into you …

And now … we are accepting interview interest submissions for the 2026 season … only 10 women will be selected so we can better serve our community with intentional promotion, focused visibility, and thoughtful storytelling amplification … quality over quantity always wins …

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I would love to thank each and everyone..As I look back over the videos… interviews… book clubs… and the stories we shared this year… my heart is full. I am grateful… thankful… and excited for what we built together. This year stretched me in every direction. Entering 35 and making major changes has not been easy… but it has been freeing. I have healed… learned… unlearned… and experienced the power of real sisterhood.

Every interview and every conversation reminded me that what we are doing is bigger than content. We are carving out our history… our voice… our space. A digital footprint that will outlive us. No one can tell our stories like we can… and no one should.

There were moments I wanted to quit… but something in me kept saying… don’t stop… you are just beginning. There are so many women who need to hear that they are not their circumstances… and that transformation is real.

Before we close this chapter… I want to honor the women who stood beside me.

Shani… from day one it felt like we already knew each other. Your wisdom and steady voice have talked me off many ledges. I appreciate you more than you know.

Sierra… my sister in every way. Ten years strong. We fuss… we fall out… we come back like nothing happened. You’ve shown me what friendship looks like beyond blood.

Shamay… girl you push me every chance you get. Your belief in me speaks louder than my fear. You have become a second voice in my head reminding me who I am.

Jazmin… you’ve been here since the beginning. The good… the bad… the ugly. You’ve straightened me out more times than I can count… inside joke. Your wisdom has shifted my whole perspective.

Thank you all for helping create something real. This year is truly one for the books.

I am taking a break until December to rest and refuel… and next year we come back stronger.

To everyone who joined the BrwnGrlz Book Club… thank you. Each story brought us closer and taught us more about ourselves and each other. And to everyone who supported The Collective Experience… your voices and stories helped shape this season into something powerful.
