Had so much fun shooting the Hotel Bennett + Firefly experience “An Evening in the Sky with Firefly”.

just launched a new moonshine flavor - FRUIT PUNCH! 🍋🍊🍓

As a Tennessean I’m happy to see the evolution of moonshine flavors because the first time I had it was 13 years ago with a certain mayor of the county known for “White Lightning”. 🙌🏼Fruit and moonshine are meant to be together; it’s called balance.

Head over to the distillery to enjoy the new addition at a tasting or in their new cocktail The Porch Punch. You can also view the distilling process firsthand, grab some food, and enjoy live music on Saturdays. 🎶

📍Rainbow Falls

I wanted Jason to experience some of the great hiking in East Tennessee and Rainbow Falls delivered.

This was my fourth time hiking this trail and it’s gotten better and better. There are tons of stops along the way to view cascades, waterfalls, flowers, fungi, and wildlife. 🍄🌿 Trail maintenance was great too!

I recommend getting to the trailhead early if going on a weekend. We went on a Friday and started around 11. It wasn’t busy and the falls weren’t crowded. The trail takes an average of 3.5 hours to complete at 5.1 miles. It’s a steady incline the whole time almost so be prepared for some pumped up legs!

Keep your distance from bears, bring water, pick up your trash, and watch your step on slippery rocks (we saw two people fall). My sandals have never failed me on a hike, but those algae covered rocks are ruthless no matter the shoe!

All the peanut butter, all the crunch, and of course all the chocolate 🥜🍫

If you wanna’ feel like you’re in France with a croissant and coffee (I don’t know what kind bc I don’t drink coffee 🤷🏻‍♀️) head over to La Patisserie. Lots to choose from and enjoy in the cutest French cafe in town.

in Costa Rica and waking up to the rainforest in La Fortuna every day was a nice change of pace compared to the pure chaos it is working with 7 different contractors 🥴

I almost feel guilty sharing Arenal Glamping bc it’s such a special place. I am working on the blog post and photos and will hopefully have it up soon!
