Many dog breeds thrive in apartments because they're adaptable, relatively quiet, and don't require endless space to be happy.

🐶 The Man Who Adopts the Oldest Dogs at Shelters ❤️

While most people walk into shelters looking for puppies… Steve Greig made a different choice.

After losing his beloved dog, he decided to adopt the OLDEST dog nobody else wanted.

Then he kept doing it.

Senior dogs.
Dogs with health problems.
Dogs overlooked by almost everyone.

And in return?

He discovered some of the most loving, loyal, calm, and grateful companions imaginable.

It’s easy to overlook older dogs because we assume puppies are “better.” But many senior dogs are already:
✔ House trained
✔ Calm and affectionate
✔ Easier to manage
✔ Perfect for quieter homes
✔ Full of personality and love

Sometimes the dogs that get ignored the most are the ones that need us the most.

Stories like Steve’s are a reminder that the “perfect dog” isn’t always the youngest or trendiest breed… sometimes it’s simply the one that matches your life and needs a second chance.
