Vegas is a place where I have had great and not-so-great emotions tied to.
The first trip there was for my 25th birthday, and it was a letdown because in my opinion it was overhyped for its nightlife. I also gambled $20 at the slot machine in the casino (gambling is not interesting to me at all, so after I lost my $20, I kept it moving πŸ™„). I went to Vegas with high expectations and experienced it with a major letdown.

The second Vegas visit was when I was 31 years old and decided to explore Vegas for my own interests and not by what the masses rave about Vegas for. I discovered so many fun, artsy, and quirky things that I actually enjoyed!
Carving your own interests and experiences is something that is underrated and should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
Take away: Seek your own truth and mute the voice of the masses.
