Some projects deserve a little extra time, and apparently this one needed LOTS of it. 😂

In my newest video I finally frame Houses on Pumpkin Lane by Pansy Patch Quilts & Stitchery. I also show how I mounted this oversized 19" × 24" piece using Sticky Board so it was manageable without lacing.

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

The fabric for my next Benartex project has arrived, and I couldn't wait to open the box!

This beautiful collection, Incandescent by Paula Nadelstern, is full of rich color and incredible movement. I'll be using it to create a large floral appliqué quilt inspired by vintage folk-art floral arrangements, and I'm excited to start bringing the design to life.

I made these reusable cooling neck wraps using fabric and water beads, and they're so simple to sew. Just soak them in water, refrigerate, and enjoy hours of cooling relief while you're outside.

I'm packing a few for my husband to take to the drag races, but I think I'll be making extras for gardening, festivals, and long walks too!

That's how long this beautiful Peacock Manor cross stitch sat waiting because I couldn't decide how to frame it.

Sometimes the hardest part of a project isn't making it—it's deciding it's finally "done."

I finally chose a frame, added Benartex Earth Elements fabric as the background, mounted it, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Sometimes good enough really is perfect. ❤️

I'll be introducing my brand new Ghostly Soirée Party Collection—a coordinating collection of six Halloween sewing projects created using Nicole DeCamp's Ghostly Soirée fabric collection for Benartex.

When I was choosing a collection to work with, Ghostly Soirée immediately caught my eye. The playful ghosts, vibrant Halloween colors, and beautiful panel artwork inspired an entire Halloween party collection that I can't wait to share.
