At about 10 a.m. June 1, Columbia Police responded to a report of a bomb threat at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in the 3000 block of Lemone Industrial Drive.

All of the guests and employees were evacuated as police officers, members of the Mid-Missouri Bomb Squad and an MU Police Department bomb dog searched throughout the building.

The scene was cleared at about 11:30 a.m., and guests and employees were allowed to return to the hotel.
