The Student Broadcast Foundation, (SBF) mentors students from league schools, preparing them for a work study program in college level sports information. Our mission at SBF is to put the students, schools, and leagues we serve in the forefront. As a non profit 501(c) 3 corporat
ion, it is not about promoting ourselves. We are signing up schools for our student sports information program. We focus on broadcast and web-based tools, while providing an instructional platform to showcase schools and teams in a functional and promotionally beneficial way. The foundation will help provide broadcast equipment funding, enabling schools to broadcast their games on the Internet. SBF will support the instructors and their students with properly engineered radio equipment. This program offers students, from freshman year through college, the opportunity to work in the field of sports information. Sports information clubs assist students in learning public speaking, communication and teamwork skills, as preparation for any career the students choose to pursue.
