WHAT IS RUDY WOULD LISTEN?

Aside from a collective storytelling experience, it's where your story is reclaimed. There is something about taking the stage and leaving an impression of you on the hearts and minds of folks. It's where you learn that truly your story matters. Maybe the value of it isn't realized until something has tried to take it away. Perhaps it's one of its kind. Maybe it's one felt by all but unsure we can bring to light. Maybe it's just the one we need to hear. He is currently developing his first workshop, titled “The Art of Booking Your Brand,” which aims to empower artists in building their unique identities. In addition to organizing several Midwest tours for musicians, Grant has also begun consulting artists to guide their careers and creative visions.

Donte Woods-Spikes poem taught us that anyone trying to silence us is just a reminder that we are supposed to keep sharing

Freddie Simone shared the origins of her namesake and taught us how to let us know how to find a friend (and to not let friends drink Hennessey).

Penny Tolber, the birthday 🎂 mom and bravest share of the night, shared her harrowing journey and instilled the importance of creating space for the next generation to grow in freedom and to tell them they are loved.

Special thanks to and Ty for the stellar ASL interpretation, but complimenting the laughs, tears, and wonder of each story on the fly.
