A lot of what we’ve been told is hereditary isn’t really about genetics—it’s about what’s on our plates. We are passing down recipes and eating habits to the next generation which in turn creates the same illnesses and then boom it runs in the family. Well until it ran into you😊

Let’s be real: our ancestors didn’t have a choice. They made magic with what they were given, and we honor their strength and survival. But you? You’ve got options. You don’t have to keep repeating what was only meant to help us survive in hard times.

Tonight’s dinner looked a little different for everyone at my table. My family still eats meat, but I’ve been slowly adding in more plant-based swaps—for them and for me.
