Bangs, tattoos, and now two puppies — the midlife crisis is going great, thanks for asking. 🩷
The closet build hasn't been abandoned, it's just moving at a pace I'd call "supervised." Meanwhile I've been prototyping a puppy playpen I'd actually want to look at in my house… a ton of failed panels later, I think I've finally cracked it. Stay tuned.

I didn't move a single wall. No demo, no drywall dust, no contractor invoice. Paint and wallpaper did all of the heavy lifting in here, and I still can't believe it's the same room. I know some of you will never forgive me for painting the wood cabinets… I stand by it 🙃

This powder room has officially been renovated twice, because apparently I can't leave a finished room alone. Round one was a $600 budget makeover. Round two got tile, trim to the ceiling, and a microcement countertop — my workaround for not having a marble slab budget. And THEN I found peel & stick tile that would've handled the whole thing in an afternoon… of course. 🙃 What do you think, would you have stopped after round one?

Would I recommend diy'ing your stairs? No. Do I love how they turned out? Thankfully, yes... which is why I can't fully warn you away from doing this yourself. This project tested me every step of the way (literally), so just be sure you know what you're getting yourself into😂 Drop your questions below!

The porch project went sideways — turns out tape isn't structural, who knew. 🙃

But this Better Homes & Gardens Conversation set from Walmart had already arrived, and my parents just moved into a new home with a blank-slate patio, so we made it work. An afternoon later, an empty patio became a place I actually want to sit in — furniture, pillows, planters, all from the Better Homes & Gardens Collection at Walmart.
