⚡️One builder advertises $151,000 to $333,000 a year for the reps who sell their homes. That’s their number, in their own job posting.

The median real estate agent earns $52,830.
(Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025.)

Same market. Same buyers. Same homes going up & down the road.

Now here’s the part almost nobody explains to real estate agents.

The builder’s onsite rep typically earns 1 to 2%. The outside agent who brings the buyer can earn 3%, paid by the builder.

⚡️ Read that again.

You do not have to work for a builder to get paid on new construction. You don’t give up your brokerage, your license, your database, or your freedom. You just have to understand how the other side of the door works.

The difference isn’t talent. It isn’t luck. It isn’t market conditions. It’s understanding where the opportunity actually is, and knowing how to use it.

New construction is the PRO level of real estate. It’s the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow 🌈, and most agents walk right past it every single day.

Because nobody ever showed them how to walk in the door and use it to their advantage.

I spent 26 years on the inside of that door.

I’ve been afraid to say this publicly for some time.

I’m completely burnt out on real estate.

I never want to sell another house again for as long as I live.

AND real estate and specifically new construction sales still changed my entire life.

It pulled me out of survival mode when I was a newer agent.

It gave me the financial means to give my kids the life I always wanted as a kid.

It was a blessing, a real one.

I outgrew it.

But someone else is waiting for that same blessing right now.

For a long time that tension made me feel like a fraud.

Teaching something I don’t want to do anymore.

The exhaustion of a successful 26 year career and the gratitude for it, living in the same body.

Here’s what I finally understand.

You don’t have to love something forever for it to be worth everything.

I loved it when it was mine to love.

Now it’s yours, and I know exactly how to hand you the keys.

That’s not fraud. That’s the whole point of what I do now.

57 weeks.

Every single week, I’ve shown up to teach a free training for real estate agents.

After thousands of conversations, one thing has become incredibly clear…

The people who win aren’t always the smartest.
They aren’t always the most talented.
And they certainly aren’t the ones chasing every shiny object.

They’re the ones who stay open.

Open to learning.
Open to changing.
Open to admitting they don’t have all the answers.

Because the moment you believe you’ve got it all figured out is usually the moment you stop growing.

The most successful people I’ve met share a few traits.

They ask questions.
They stay curious instead of skeptical.
They understand that you don’t know what you don’t know.

And here’s something I wish more people understood…

Consistency alone isn’t enough.

If you’re consistently doing the wrong things, you’ll consistently get the wrong results.

The goal isn’t to work harder.
It’s to make sure you’re working on the right things.

The people who make the biggest leaps aren’t looking for shortcuts or guarantees.

They’re looking for better information.
Better strategies.
Better ex*****on.

They invest in themselves physically, mentally, and professionally because they know the quality of their life and business will rarely outgrow the quality of the person building it.

No one has ever been guaranteed success.

But the people who create it have one thing in common:

They stay teachable.
They take action.
And they keep adjusting until they find what works.

That’s the difference.
