Five years.
That’s how long GladeRunDesigns has been in business, and it still feels surreal to say out loud.
This journey began in 2020 when I was just 16 years old, sitting in my grandmother’s living room learning to crochet during the pandemic. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something much more, something that brought our family together and allowed me to dream bigger than I ever imagined.
For two years, my grandmother Anita and I spent countless hours crafting, creating, and building the foundation of what would become GladeRunDesigns. Her unexpected passing in 2021 changed everything. In many ways, it marked the end of a chapter, but it also sparked something new. I knew I wanted to keep creating, not just in memory of her, but in honor of everything she dreamed for me.
It was during this time that I discovered my passion for marketing, first through an internship with my high school’s athletic department, and later through hands-on experience at Ohio Dominican University and with NC4K.
GladeRunDesigns has evolved so much over the years from handmade products to full-service marketing support for all stages of life and business. And through it all, one thing has remained the same: my gratitude for every single person who has supported this journey.
To my clients, my mentors, my friends, my family: thank you.
