Using my voice as an audiobillboard for your product, project, or service, engaging your audience. If you have a message that needs a voice, let's connect!
Your message/story/brand is important to you, & making sure your target audience is engaged, encouraged, educated, empowered & prompted to act related to it is important to me. I use my voice as a tool, providing engaging voiceover/voicing, & conversational narration to act as an “audiobillboard” for your product, project, or service. After nearly 25 years in the health science & healthcare indust
ry in toxicology, physical therapy, & physical therapy education, God “transplanted” me into the voiceover industry. In 2015, I founded Vocally Yours, LLC, and began to to live God’s purpose for my life by using my voice to engage, encourage, educate, & empower. My voiceover services have been a tool for:
• Engaging training & education
• Inspiration & motivation
• The potential to realize more positive responses to calls to action, & improved retention of educational & training material. I am a Certified Medical Narration Specialist, & combined with my education & healthcare background, am well-qualified to provide narration for healthcare communication & marketing projects. I also provide voicing for
• eLearning
• Corporate training
• Marketing videos
• Phone messaging systems/message on hold
• Non-fiction audiobooks
I have a special interest in faith-based projects, & want to glorify God by using my voice to encourage & empower others with His Word & with the life changing message it brings. This special interest led to the creation of a ministry-based business called The Voice For Purpose. This business allowed me to further develop and utlize my creative giftings, writing devotional pieces and creating products and speaking to encourage others to embrace their identity in Christ and to step out in faith into their God-given purpose. After years in both voiceover and ministry work, I felt God asking me to bring it all together. So I’m merging purpose and profession, with a special focus on narrating faith-based projects, and still offering engaging and motivating voiceover for corporate training, marketing, IVR/phone messaging, and small business needs. Whether it’s scripture or a sales message, I give every word the clarity it deserves.

*"Start your day by listening—what might God be whispering to your heart in this moment?"*
When I intentionally take time to start my day listening for God's plans for me rather than listing my plans and reviewing my to-do list with Him and asking Him to bless them, I feel much more at peace throughout the day, and am more open to hearing from Him throughout the day.
Psalm 37:4 ESV
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 25:4-5 ESV
Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
John 10:27 ESV
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Do you make it a habit to start your day listening to God? What does that look like for you?

This is one of my favorite coffee mugs, inspired by Hebrews 10:24, "Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love."
Hebrews 10:24 TPT
What inspires YOU to encourage and motivate others? Imagine what could happen if more people were focused on doing compassionate, beautiful works of love for others. The world's problems wouldn't suddenly disappear, but it might just be a kinder, more peaceful place to be. 🥰

"Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong," notes Mandy Hale.
That thing you’re afraid to try might just be the thing that unlocks the next chapter and gets you "unstuck!"
What have you been afraid to try/do? Where have you let fear get in the way, believed the voice in your head that says you aren't good enough, or been afraid to step out of your comfort zone? Perhaps today could be the day you go for it!

"Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.” ~Robert McKee, professor.
How people engage with that story is the key.
Whether it's a training video designed to educate, a devotional created to encourage, or a speech delivered to empower, even the best script falls flat without the right voice.
But the RIGHT voice will bring a story - YOUR story- to life.
It’s not just about reading—it’s about *feeling,* because HOW it’s said matters just as much as WHAT is said.

You don’t have to leap today. One step is enough. When it feels like it's taking longer than you'd like for what you planned or hoped for to come to fruition, remember that there's often learning that takes place in what we perceive as delays. Celebrate progress, not perfection.

🎙️ In the last decade, you may have known me as a voiceover artist, and founder of Vocally Yours, LLC.
🙏 More recently, you may have known me as a speaker, writer, and faith-based facilitator.
✔️ Now, it’s all coming together. I’m blending my voiceover business with my faith-based mission—using my voice to serve both ministries and businesses with that matter. You'll find me now at Lisa Stroth VO:The Voice of Encouragement. (https://www.lisastrothvo.com)
My voice has always been my tool—now it’s my mission.
🎧 I voice training and marketing videos, IVR/messaging on-hold, and slideshow videos for small businesses
✨ I narrate nonfiction, faith-based audiobooks
📖 I speak, write, and lead others in faith
💜This rebrand is about bringing both businesses under one calling: serving others with a purpose-filled voice.
I created this video 👇 to accompany the audio for Day 1 of a Bible plan I created for YouVersion - Finding the Refreshment of the Lord. It combines three pursuits I love- faith-based , simple creation, and voiceover. I hope you enjoy it!

I've been a bit quiet on social media for some time with regard to my business, and that has been purposeful.
For the last couple of years, I've actually had two businesses- my voiceover business, Vocally Yours, LLC (started in 2015), and a faith-based/ministry-based business called The Voice For Purpose (started in 2023).
In late 2024, I was working on narrating a book, "The Anglican Rosary: God the Father: Devotions and Prayers for 33 Names of God (Praying the Names of God with the Anglican Rosary Book 1)" https://a.co/d/d9LRDIU. It's the first of a 3-book series, and I was reminded once again of how much I love being able to use my voice for the Kingdom of God. I'm excited to say that I'm nearing the end of the 2nd book, and will begin the 3rd as soon as the authors are ready!
During this time, I was writing, creating videos, and creating faith-based products as The Voice For Purpose. Slowly, but surely, the idea of a re-brand combining the two businesses I love into one: LisaStrothVO:TheVoiceOfEncouragement. It's taken time to develop, and you'll see more about it in the coming days. This wasn't what I envisioned 10 years ago, or even 2 years ago, but I am feeling excited about what God is doing and will do, and wanted to share this video for which I wrote the script, created the video, and did the voiceover. It talks about the beautiful work God does in our lives when we surrender our hopes and plans to him. If you watch, I hope it encourages you!

"If bees only gathered nectar from perfect flowers, they wouldn’t be able to make even a single drop of honey.” ~Matshona Dhliwayo
Sometimes things in life and business don't go as planned. When we face an unexpected twist, turn, or bump in the road, we can choose to give up or choose to be flexible, to adapt to our circumstances, and to find ways to use the resources available to us.
And just as any bee would tell you that the honey produced from imperfect flowers is just as sweet as that made from the most beautiful flowers in the garden, the success that results from making the most of what you have available to you is just as rewarding (perhaps even more so) as that that results from everything going exactly as planned.

This is the final day of 21 Days of Gratitude. In the last several years, I have been working on a mindset of "being thankful in all circumstances," praising God in both good and difficult times, and looking for the ways He is working in my life. But sometimes I need a reminder and perhaps a bit of a reset to refine my focus, and that's what these 21 days have been.
There's no way I could have known that the last two weeks would involve my Dad being very ill and in the hospital, but God did, and He used this commitment to daily recording three reasons for being grateful to keep my mind focused on HIM and His goodness and faithfulness instead of going down the path of "what if..." Dad still has some challenging days ahead, but he knows he can trust God to provide just what he needs and that he can lean on Jesus. And God has prepared my heart to trust His faithfulness to care for both of my parents in the next steps and to continue to provide just what our family needs.
I'm grateful today for answered prayers and for grace to trust that more answers are on the way.
I'm grateful that Jesus is the reason for our hope in every circumstance and every season of life.
I'm grateful for my sister, who has been able to be with Mom pretty much daily when I couldn't be so she didn't have to be alone at the hospital.
And I'm grateful that my brother and his wife prepared a little worship service with music and communion in Dad's room yesterday.
If you've followed along on this 21 day journey, I hope that you've been encouraged to begin your own gratitude practice or to give your current practice a little boost or reset if it's needed.

I have lived in Ohio for most of my life, and enjoy living in a community that keeps me close to much of my family, to my church, and to many of my friends. I enjoy cooking/baking, singing, reading, light gardening, and watching movies (mostly adventure, science fiction and pretty much any superhero/comic book-based flicks, but if there’s a dog involved, or a faith based theme, you’ll definitely find me in the theater or watching it on NetFlix or Amazon!) My faith is of primary significance in my life, and my purpose in life is to live out God’s plan for my life and to glorify God as I do so. In light of that, I also enjoy serving in ministry at my church, in my community, and at home.
My mission as a voiceover artist is to use my voice as a tool for my clients to engage, encourage, educate, and empower their target audiences, offering inspiration and motivation, and the potential to realize more positive responses to calls to action, and to achieve improved retention of educational and training material.
After nearly 25 years in the health science and healthcare industry in toxicology, physical therapy, and physical therapy education, I have happily been “transplanted” into the voiceover industry as a voiceover artist, and am the CEO of Vocally Yours, LLC.
Clients, friends, and fellow voiceover talent have described my voice as “warm, friendly, nurturing, knowledgeable, and conversational.” I’ve even been told by people who have no interest in science or medically based information that they “actually kept listening,” or “learned things they didn’t know they could learn.” I am a Certified Medical Narration Specialist, and combined with my education and healthcare background, am well-qualified to provide narration for healthcare communication and marketing projects. I also provide voicing for eLearning, corporate training, and marketing videos, phone messaging systems/message on hold, and non-fiction audiobooks. My clients can expect narration that keeps listeners engaged, ensuring that their message is heard, their product remembered, and education or training retained.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to be the voice for a variety of jobs, including locally owned specialty shops, insurance advertisements, sporting event announcements, physical therapy training modules, non-profit appeals videos, and video narration for an organization promoting perinatal health. My tagline "The Voiceover Cure" is a nod to my healthcare background and expertise, but I am absolutely committed to being the “voiceover cure” for any voicing needs my clients may have, and to meeting (and hopefully exceeding) their expectations.
