June 13th, 2025 We were blessed to bring “Taimak”, Bruce Leroy, of the 1985 Classic,”The Last Dragon”🐉, not only to Columbus, Ohio - but inside our Dojo, “EJs Warrior Karate Academy”. This event was FREE for all youth and just $10 for Adults. Proud to have had this experience. I enjoy bringing joy to others and had initially planned on this, or similar in 2015, 10 years earlier at IResolve Fitness. Every time we tried we failed back then and I eventually forgot about it, even after traveling the USA and Eventually the World Coaching our Students and working with our films. While dropping off a student in early 2025, he asked to hear the 🎶, “The Glow”, or The Last Dragon song. I thought in a flash while playing it, “Of all we had accomplished up to that time, why had we left that (Bringing Taimak to Columbus) undone?” I asked the boy what if we brought him here? He just smiled likely not believing but We were in the position to make it happen and with the help of the City, we did. There is always a downside though, the boy that I mentioned it to who I got the idea from, unfortunately quit prior and never came to see Taimak, but so many others did. Funny how things work, Plant the seeds and wait for them to grow- Sensei EJ
