Final Edit vs. BTS 🎥

Harnessing the power of green screen with Engineers Foundation of Ohio.

With a simple back drop and post-production expertise, our video team can transport talent anywhere. 🗺️

The trick? Chroma keying, a process in which a special software removes green (or sometimes blue) pixels from footage, leaving a transparent background ready to be replaced with any scene we imagine.

And yes, it’s green for a reason. The vibrant hue is distinct from natural skin tones and clothing, making it easier to isolate the talent cleanly. ✅

Our studios have also been known to use Ultimatte by Blackmagic Design to live key the background in real time!

Sometimes all it takes is a big green wall and a little imagination 😊

From coast to coast, our team produced nine galas benefitting Human Rights Campaign's work for LGBTQ+ equality. Each venue, whether a historic power station or a grand ballroom, was a chance to create something immersive, meaningful, and unforgettable.✨

From audio design and lighting to video, set installs, and showcalling, we made sure every element supported the mission at the heart of each event and created a memorable experience for each guest.

In the heart of Hollywood… ✨

Your favorite Ohioans took over the iconic Dolby Theatre to transform it into an unforgettable experience for Summit of Greatness 2025.

Over two days, attendees filled the seats for powerful speakers, inspiring stories, and show-stopping performances. So, naturally, we had to match the vibe.

With intricate lights, booming audio, video projection, and the occasional pyrotechnic surprise, our team built an environment worthy of the moment and the venue. 💥

For a crew that nerds out equally about film and events, getting to produce at the Dolby was a true “pinch us” moment.

Huge thanks to Greatness and Lewis Howes for allowing us to produce something that supports personal growth and possibility, and to Dolby Theatre for the unforgettable backdrop.

It seems that Nicholas Schmalz was always meant to be a storyteller.

From chance encounters with Robert De Niro to closing high-stakes deals that once seemed impossible, his creative curiosity has taken him to some unbelievable places. Now, in his three years at Mills James, this LA-based Creative Director always finds the human heart at the center of every project. Shaped from an early age by poetry, nature, people, and professional wrestling (of course), Nicholas’ storytelling spirit influences everything he does, and makes him the standout collaborator and creative force that he is known to be. Whether it’s chasing an idea or an unexpected adventure, he somehow always finds the story worth telling.

From science museum to tech showcase… all in a day’s work. 🌱💡

We’re proud to have partnered with Vertiv for the 2025 Vertiv Technology Fair and Global Supplier Day at COSI - Center of Science and Industry. Over this two-day event, our team took on the challenge of providing lighting, audio, scenic design, and projection for multiple breakout sessions across COSI’s iconic exhibits, transforming these spaces into a dynamic hub of innovation.

It was a privilege to help create an environment where ideas could spark and collaboration could thrive. 🚀

Let’s gather ‘round the campfire… 🌵✨

During our recent open-house demo, we invited local artist Eric Clemens to sit down for a song and let the cameras roll. The result was a stunning performance of his original track “New Leaf.”

Using Unreal Engine and Mo-Sys camera tracking, we transported Eric into a cozy desert campsite fit for even the weariest traveler. The movie magic didn’t stop there. With Ultimatte by Blackmagic Design, we keyed him into the virtual scene in real time, allowing our team to see the environment come alive as we shot.

To top it off, Senior Environment Artist Cory Martin added a layer of augmented reality by creating virtual foliage that moved naturally between Eric and the camera, working in sync with our camera tracking technology to create an immersive, cinematic jam session.

We recently partnered with InfoSight Corporation for an on-site video shoot at V&S Galvanizing. With lights and cameras on the production floor, our team captured how Infosight is setting the gold standard in the creation of industrial ID tags.
