Of all the concerts I’ve been to over the years, I probably have some of the best memories from Ozzfest. Hanging out with my friends all day in the sun watching so many great bands was awesome enough, but for Ozzy to end the day with either his solo material or a performance with Black Sabbath was the absolute best!

I’m not going to try and say what Ozzy means to me or the rest of the world because we already know. It sucks to think of a world without Ozzy in it, but it’s reassuring to know that we’ll always have his amazing music that will continue to inspire for years to come.

We welcome back writer and director Jonathan Bowen this week to talk about the release of his new film ‘The Comic Shop’, as well as hear our review!

The Comic Shop follows Mike (Jesse Metcalfe, Desperate Housewives and John Tucker Must Die), a comic shop owner at a strip mall in North Las Vegas, and Brandon (Micah Giovanni), a young comic lover who loves to draw. New to town, Brandon discovers Mike’s comic book shop, where he meets Mike and Alex (Tristin Mays, MacGyver). Soon he finds himself visiting there often as they have a strong indie comic book section. At first, Brandon irritates Mike, but the two start to form a bond over their love and respect for comic books and the art of illustrating. Featuring cameos from Carrot Top and Eric Roberts, this is a film you won’t want to miss!
