A couple of weeks ago, as my wife & I were on our way back home in our motorhome from Fort Myers, the technical director for TurnPoint Church reached out to me and asked if I could voice the intro video for their Easter Services. I told them I was on the road and not in the studio, but Seth told me if I could find a quiet place somewhere, they would be fine with me recording the script on my iPhone, and they'd sweeten the audio and we'd be good to go.
On our 2nd night of our trip back, we stopped in the little town of Sweetwater, TN and I jumped in my pickup truck, drove down the road to somewhere that was reasonably quiet, and recorded three takes of the script. I had to record in between the periodic ambient noises of cars & trucks going down the nearby highway. In my mind, this wasn't my best work (hard to completely focus on the directors notes, when you're listening for noises that can interfere with a recording), but hey, the client was very happy and that's all that mattered.
