Planning a Disney trip can be overwhelming but we’re here to help! These are just a few Disney tips.
🚃 There are a lot of perks to staying on site, and we genuinely generally always recommend it. You’ll enjoy free transportation, including buses, Skyliner, monorail and boats. You can see the bus schedule for your resort from the My Disney Experience app. You can enter the parks 30 minutes before other guests. Deluxe resort guests can also enjoy extended evening hours. There are awesome dining options. Every resort has pools to enjoy. There are lots of fun family activities like making s’mores and movie nights to enjoy.
📝 Be prepared with a plan and the right gear! Consider the weather when packing (bring ponchos, fans, etc). You’ll definitely want a portable charger. Consider an Instacart order for snacks or drinks as you can bring your own into the parks and your Disney resort will have a small refrigerator. Check out the dining options in advance so you’re not stuck being hangry and eating the closest average hamburger you can find-there are lots of fun and unique things to try.
🎥 Don’t spend your entire day running from ride to ride. Take the time to enjoy the parades, especially if you’re there for a party event. There are also lots of great shows, with the bonus of air conditioning, that we love. Favorites include Festival of the Lion King, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, For the First Time in Forever: Frozen Sing Along, Finding Nemo, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic.
🍺 There’s a reason there are so many of us Disney Adults! It goes beyond nostalgia and drinking around the world.
This audio is from my absolute favorite version of Cinderella, if you’ve never seen it, highly recommend.
