Did you know that "Current" by Janet Echelman is the first permanent sculpture in the world to be mounted over a major thoroughfare?

This stunning sculpture traverses 229 feet at the corner of Gay and High Street and is sculpted with 78 miles of twine. It weaves together threads of local history as it connects Columbus' urban street grid with its river waterfront. For the most stunning views of Current, check it out between sunset and 11pm while you explore Downtown Columbus.
