One thing I’ve learned since stepping into the online business world… **people don’t need another sales pitch. They need someone who understands where they are.** 💯
I’ve learned a LOT along this journey—some lessons came easy, and some came with a little frustration, money, and plenty of “Lord, what am I doing?” moments. 😂
But if I could share 3 things I’ve learned with anyone building a business online, these would be at the top of my list:
1️⃣ **Talk about the problem before you talk about the business.**
Most people aren’t scrolling social media thinking, “I need somebody to sell me a business today.” 😂
They’re thinking…
💰 “How can I make some extra income?”
⏰ “How can I have more flexibility?”
😩 “I’m tired of working so hard and still feeling like I’m behind.”
🏖️ “What happens when I retire?”
💭 “Is there another way to create a different future?”
Those are the conversations that matter.
When you understand what people are experiencing, you can create content that speaks directly to their reality—not just promote what you’re doing.
2️⃣ **You don’t have to explain your entire business in one post.**
I used to think I had to tell people EVERYTHING. 😂
The business… the system… the training… the benefits… the process…
Whew! 😩
But I’ve learned that sometimes the best thing you can do is simply **educate, share your experience, create curiosity, and invite people to learn more.**
Your post doesn’t have to convince everyone.
It just needs to connect with the person who needed to hear it.
👉🏽 If they want more information, give them the next step.
**DM me. Comment INFO. Visit my website. Join me for a webinar.**
Simple.
3️⃣ **STOP EXPECTING EVERYBODY TO SAY YES RIGHT AWAY.**
This one is BIG. 👏🏽
Some people will watch you for weeks.
Some will watch for months.
Some may watch you for a year or more before they ever reach out.
And while they’re watching, they’re asking themselves:
“Is she consistent?”
“Is this really what she says it is?”
“Can I trust her?”
“Could I actually do something like this?”
That’s why I keep showing up.
Not because everybody who sees my content is going to join my business.
Not because everybody needs what I’m doing.
But because **you never know who is watching quietly and waiting for the right moment.**
My job is to share my journey, educate, encourage, answer questions, and be a resource for people who are looking for something different.
Because sometimes people aren't ready when they first meet you.
And that's okay.
**Visibility gets you noticed.
Value gets you remembered.
Consistency builds trust.
And FOLLOW-UP builds relationships.** ❤️
So if you’re building something online and you feel like nobody is paying attention…
**KEEP SHOWING UP.**
Your audience may be quieter than you think. 👀
And to the person who has been watching me quietly…
Maybe today is the day you finally say, **“Gina, tell me more.”** 😉❤️
