Tristan Lyles, senior all-star linebacker/defensive end for Central (Phenix City, AL), is off to a dominant start this season. Four games in, he’s already racked up 6 sacks. Pushing his career total of 33 varsity sacks over 3 years. He was wreaking havoc with 3 sacks in one game against Dothan. At 6’1”, 240 lbs, he’s got the size, skill, and drive to shine at the next level. Big things ahead for this young man on defense.

Jaamir Brown | Sophomore | WR/CB | Hardaway High (Columbus, GA)Dangerous in space and a threat every time he touches the ball. Against Shaw, he showed off his speed and vision on this 82 yard return. No wasted movement, just decisive cuts and straight line explosiveness. Keep an eye on this playmaker, he’s a difference maker for the Hawks.

We’ve got some big shake-ups this week—except at the very top. Brookstone and Carver continue to reign supreme.

We also had an absolute blast covering the Troup County Tigers this weekend. If they were in the rankings, trust us… they’d be near the top .

Led by one of the state’s best, Garrison Edwards, this team is the real deal, and we can’t wait to have them as part of the George Alabama SPORTS Live family!

Braden Brown, JR Wr for Central High, is one of the most dangerous punt returners in Alabama! Currently ranked #4 in the state for at 47yr per PR. 🔥 he broke out this game with 3 TDs against Dothan last Friday. He showed his ball tracking, speed, and body control on this sick TD catch!! 👀

Is this the breakout game of the season, or is he just getting started? Keep an eye on him! Oh! JR QB Bobby Coleman with a PERFECTLY placed pass!! This kid is legit as well! More on him coming! 👀

Donovan Crow, senior RB for Central High School (Phenix City, AL), put on a show last Friday again!! At 6’0” and 205 pounds, he’s a powerful back who runs downhill with purpose. Against Dothan, he carried the ball just 6 times for 123 yards and 1 TD, helping Central to a dominating 56-28 win at home. This senior runs with some serious power and definitely has the tools to make an impact at the next level. 4 games into the season he has 7 TD’s.
