The Midwest prepared me for tornado sirens, humidity, and checking the weather before leaving the house because it might snow by the afternoon.

It did not prepare me for cactus that fight back.

I just learned I overpack… badly ⬇️

I thought I was a light packer...
until I realized I only used half my suitcase 😭

I’ve always been the “carry-on only” girl — packing smart, minimal, and practical.

But this trip humbled me.

Turns out even my “light” packing wasn’t that light.

I wore three bottoms, two tops, and maybe two dresses…
and the rest? Just took a free ride out West.

Safe to say, I’m rethinking what traveling light really means.
