Global law firm - K&L Gates LLP, representing counsel for Bank Defendants: (1) WELLS FARGO; (2) US BANK; & (3) CITIGROUP, receives offer to resume a legal settlement discussion after new Discovery evidences more undisclosed conflicts of interest between their clients and the presiding Massachusetts Superior Court Judge - Hon. Janice W. Howe (Ref. HARIHAR v WELLS FARGO et al, Docket No. 1981-cv-00050, Middlesex Superior Court, Woburn, MA).
According to Judge Howe's Statements of Financial Interest (SFI) -filed with the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission, the presiding judge has owned stock, financial interests, etc... with ALL three (3) named Bank Defendants since 2017. This new discovery is incremental to the Plaintiff's prior discovery which first evidenced an undisclosed conflict of interest with Judge Howe's husband - Douglas Howe, Jr., who has been a licensed Real Estate/Insurance Broker in the Town of Andover for decades. As a matter of record, Mr. Howe is (at least in part) believed to have been involved in thousands of business transactions with these National lenders.
Despite the initial conflict with her husband, Judge Howe refused to recuse and continued to rule despite clear disqualification. Now, with this new discovery, the Plaintiff is calling for Judge Howe's removal from the Bench and to re-establish jurisdiction, if Bank Defendants decline the Plaintiff's good faith offer to resume and ultimately reach a legal settlement agreement.

I'm writing to see how many people are truly aware of the details of the the Vale Project to redevelop the old Kraft plant off Montvale.
https://www.thevaleboston.com/
The reason I'm asking is because I live in the only adjacent neighborhood and we just found out the details about the project recently and have some major concerns. To be clear, I am not against the redevelopment of the Kraft plant, I am just concerned about their lack of engaging the people who live in the area and some of the plans that will have a significant negative impact on the adjacent woodland areas- which will negatively impact a number of Woburn and Wi******er residents.
The main areas of concern are around their plan to clear 28 acres of forest next to the plant (see the bottom section of the image below) to develop a senior living center and townhomes with only one entrance/exit to Montvale. This will eliminate the many wildlife animals we have in the area and significantly increase traffic on Montvale.
Our neighborhood has sent multiple letters and made calls to the Mayor, City Councilors, and the Conservation Commission members asking for meetings and for our voices to be heard. Nearly all of these requests have been ignored.
Mayor Scott Galvin and City Council members, if you're seeing this all we want is a chance to shape our neighborhood for the future for all of us. Please give us that chance.
If anyone can tag the Mayor or any of the City Council members on this post I'd appreciate it. If you want to learn more please send me a direct message or e-mail me at
[email protected]. You can also check out the website crested by some Wi******er residents to improve this project (
https://www.greenthevale.com/) and you can join the upcoming Woburn Conservation Commission Meeting tomorrow night (
https://www.woburnma.gov/public-meetings/24875/) to have your voices heard.
Thanks for your support.
Several people have reached out to ask what it is that Campus Connection Consulting does.
Basically, I'm doing the legwork for parents/students. It's similar to Naviance, which some people have free access to, but others do not. I will also suggest scholarships based on a student's particular information.
I have heard of several cases where students and parents get into heated arguments over and over again because the teen doesn't want to take advice from the parents about where he/she should go. This takes that off the table because the results are from a professional. It gives families a jumping off point and lets the student have a feeling of being the one to make the choice (within the parameters that the parents have set in the initial questionnaire). At a time when the student is feeling many emotions, and preparing to be somewhat independent, it's important for him/her to feel in control of his/her academic future.
I hope this gives you a better idea of what Campus Connection Consulting offers!
