Hallelujah praise!

GOING HOME … almost …
… this is fantastic and so great to see.
What a great photo.
How about some good news on Evan Hayes … the 15-year-old boy who’s brave battle with cancer we’ve all been following.
He’s been back and forth with this illness for years and doctors early last year told him there finally was nothing more they could do.
He went home to Clay County, TN to live what time he had had left.
Then there was such an ourpouring of support he decided he wanted to fight to live and agreed to undergo a difficult process for a bone marrow transplant that could save his life.
A few weeks ago we learned the marrow transplant worked at Vanderbilt in Nashville.
Still he’s battled weakness and an awful rash as his body reacts to the transplant.
BUT, NOW THIS FROM HIS MOTHER STEPHANIE:
“After 46 days inpatient, lots of ups and downs, my guy has finally busted out of the hospital!
He is doing better, we are focusing on recovery now!
Evan has to stay close to the hospital in case of any possible emergencies.
We will have to stay in Nashville at an apartment for approximately 2 more months before we will be able to return home.”

Wow.
Evan is not out of the woods yet, but this is incredibly positive and happy news.
I hope to swing by tomorrow and see him — bring some bagels and cream cheese … and we’ll just hang.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
