I'm helping spread the word for someone whose beloved cat, Emma Rose (who answers to Rosie), has gone missing.

She was last seen near Olive Barber Road.

COOS BAY WOMAN CITED AFTER CRASHING INTO TACO BELL

A 39-year-old Coos Bay woman was cited for careless driving after crashing her vehicle into the Taco Bell building on South 1st Street early Tuesday morning.
According to the Coos Bay Police Department, the crash occurred around 4:22 a.m. on June 9. The restaurant was closed at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle caused significant damage and ended up partially inside the building. Mast Bros. Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
Following an investigation, the driver was cited for careless driving.

Attempted Murder Case Involving Three Children

A 32-year-old Keizer mother, Chardonnay Benavidez, was arrested after allegedly attempting to kill her three young children and herself using carbon monoxide in a garage. Police say she told the children they were having a "sleepover" in the vehicle, then ran exhaust fumes into the car. She later called 911 herself. The children survived and were released to their father after treatment. She's currently facing multiple counts of attempted murder and assault.

According to police, officers found a car in an attached garage with a make shift apparatus running from the car’s exhaust pipe to the inside of the car.

Police said the Keizer Fire District also responded to the home Saturday night. Crews with the fire district had to vent the garage before police went inside, due to the amount of carbon monoxide that was still present.

All four were taken to a hospital where they were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning.
