Today, we stand together as a community to honor our veterans.

To all who have worn the uniform from right here on the Oregon Coast and across the nation, we thank you. Your courage, your sacrifice, and your love of country remind us what true service means.

Because of you, our communities are free. Because of you, our children grow up under the shelter of liberty. And because of you, we are reminded that patriotism isn’t just a word, it’s a way of life.

From NWS: A tsunami advisory has been issued for coastal areas of Oregon. If you are located in this coastal area, move off the beach and out of harbors or marinas. Stay out of the water and away from shore. Follow instructions from local authorities and stay tuned to your local news source and NOAA weather radio for further information for updates.
