Been a little while since our last new art reveal. And that's because we've been hard at work on a complete redesign of our card borders and frames. has done an amazing job with the new linocut artwork that is featured on every card in Sylvan Tactics. She is also responsible for the watercolor background art for every Mercenary card. We are making huge progress.

And to celebrate this milestone we are sharing the new Mercenary card for Riverwood Foreman. His "Busy Builder" ability makes him extremely maneuverable on the battlefield. And of course we have to highlight the featured character artwork by .art as well. Beautiful as always!

We had so much fun showing the game to new players at Gamicon earlier this month. Now we are sharing our brand new card border designs! Super excited to share more soon!

No new art post today, unfortunately... But that's only because we had such an amazing weekend full of demoing Sylvan Tactics at Gamicon in Coralville, Iowa!

We ran our first official tournament at the show and the winner received a prototype copy of the game and $100. The day before the tournament he showed up to our demo tables and played 3 games to prepare. By the end of the weekend he was 6-0. Truly impressive to watch! I unfortunately never got a picture with him or permission to share his name, so for now he will be our nameless champion!

The digital edition of Sylvan Tactics is coming! Our preference will always be the physical version, but we hope that a digital edition will help connect more players and grow the game as large as it deserves!
