🌟 ACTC Welcomes ASD 9th Graders! 🌟

This week, we were excited to host recruitment tours for ASD 9th grade students as part of their Exploring Careers course! Students had the opportunity to visit our campus, meet instructors, and get a hands-on look at the many CTE programs ACTC has to offer.

From welding and health sciences to technology, construction, and more — these students explored real-world pathways that can guide their futures. We loved seeing their curiosity, questions, and enthusiasm! 🔧🔬💻✨

A big thank you to the Biggersville Fire Department for speaking with our Law & Public Safety (LPS) class about what it takes to join the volunteer fire service!!

Our students learned about a new program that the Biggersville Fire Department will be launching soon. It's a program that gives senior students the opportunity to become EMT certified and take the National EMT exam — completely FREE of charge.

We’re thrilled to see our students gaining access to such valuable, real-world career training that prepares them for success beyond the classroom. 👨‍🚒🔥

ACTC hosted a special Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) Celebration for our amazing students today!
Members of SkillsUSA, FFA, HOSA, Educators Rising, and TSA learned more about exciting leadership opportunities, upcoming regional and state competitions, and career incentive scholarships available if they win at their CTSO state competition. 💡✨

Students enjoyed popcorn and Coke products as a special treat while learning how their CTSO can help them grow as leaders and professionals. 🍿🥤

A big thank you to Corinth Coke for providing the drinks and helping make our celebration extra special! ❤️

50th Day of School fun with BMF!

🌟 STEAM Comes to Life at ACTC! 🌟
ACTC was proud to host the annual STEAM Summit, welcoming every 4th grade student from the Alcorn School District for a full day of hands-on learning and discovery! Students rotated through a variety of fun and educational activities—all led by our talented ACTC students showcasing their programs in action.

⚙️ Engineering & IT teamed up for Rumbling Robots, where students learned how coding and robots work and even got to see them in motion.
🍔 Business, Marketing & Finance (BMF) hosted Food Truck Frenzy, letting students design their own food truck concept from start to finish.
🪚 Construction & Industrial Maintenance invited students into The Construction Zone to practice using real tools like hammers and screwdrivers.
❤️ Health Sciences led Adventures in Anatomy, teaching students how to check vital signs and explore the human body.
🚓 Automotive & Law and Public Safety joined forces for the CSI Challenge, where students became investigators to solve a mystery.
🧪 Educator Prep got creative with Mad Scientists, where students mixed up their own colorful slime and explored the fun side of science!
🌱 Agriculture Power & Machinery and Agriculture & Natural Resources teamed up for Crops & Critters, where students learned about seed germination, planted a pinto bean seed to take home, and enjoyed a visit to the petting zoo!

This exciting day gave students the chance to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through real-world, career-based learning—all while having fun! 🎨🔬💻

Our Law & Public Safety students had the exciting opportunity to learn directly from Corinth Police Chief Landon Tucker and Sergeant Jesse Waters. From the hiring process to life at the police academy, students gained firsthand insight into what it takes to serve and protect.
