This is for all of my overachievers, perfectionists, entrepreneurs, hustlers, grinders, & anyone that feels like they won this year.

Itโ€™s time to level up. This coming year you should make it a point to raise your bar/ standard to all of your goals.

If you crushed your goals this year, awesome! I am proud of you. But now itโ€™s time to see what youโ€™re made out of.

Challenge yourself. Stretch yourself. Push yourself to your limits... then push a little more.

Will it be uncomfortable? Yes.

Will it be scary? At times.

Will you want to quit & lower the bar? Yup.

But what good is going through life and meeting death ๐Ÿ’€ at the end, having to wonder:

What if...

...I would have given more?
...I I would have committed myself fully?
...I would have went all in?

Donโ€™t die with regret.

Live full and die empty.

Leave it all on the field.

Your employees will not necessarily stay... even if you pay them more!

Harvard Business Review did a study & found that:

โ€œ...across all income levels, the top predictor of workplace satisfaction is not pay: It is the culture and of the organization, followed closely by the quality of senior and the opportunities at the company... compensation and benefits were consistently rated among the least important factors of .โ€

Build your , Change it, improve it... do what you need to. But donโ€™t stay stuck with the mindset that your people will be loyal & will stick around just for a raise. Itโ€™s more than that.

As a leader or manager there are things that just SHOULD NOT be said. Donโ€™t believe me? Ask your department! ๐Ÿ˜‚ They usually have stories for days.

The words that we choose are extremely important. Many believe that HOW we say it means more than WHAT we say. Although this may be true many times...

Your choice of words is still VERY important!

Make time to your vocabulary. If you have a larger selection of to choose from, you will be able to yourself better, convey your thoughts more proficiently, & exhibit to a newer & higher degree.

A lot of the happening in the is legitimately occurring due to not being able to convey their thoughts properly & clearly.

Leaders are readers. Why? So they can continue to themselves. When you read regularly, not only is your growing but your is also expanding.

It can never just be about you (leader). If you are successful, Great! But what about Them?!

The true measure of a true leader is their people. How much are they growing? How much are they developing? Are they successful?

What good is your if they are not successful. leadership is about creating , not about .

Everyone is going through something, but everyone does not have the support system or confidence in their support system to ask for help during the hardest of times.

As , we must cultivate a culture that allows our to feel open, comfortable, & confident that they are safe with us & that they can trust us.

A Business Review survey revealed that 58% of people say they trust strangers more than their own boss. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

โ€œCourage to ask for helpโ€ is important, but the reality is most people wonโ€™t ask if they donโ€™t feel confident & trust in their leaders. So, building trust first, will be key. ๐Ÿ”‘

Will it be easy? No, But it will be worth it. The benefits, by far, outweigh the work youโ€™ll need to put in to get there.

Good doesnโ€™t happen overnight. No one is born a great ; itโ€™s something you are developed into & usually because of much failure at first.

When you lose an , that is the best time to do some self analysis & reflecting & ask yourself the hard questions...

Like, what responsibilities did I have in this person leaving?

Could I have done more?

What can I currently on to better serve my people?

What issues can I correct so no one else leaves for the same issues?

Yes, sometimes there isnโ€™t anything that you couldโ€™ve done to save that person; but never get into the of ALWAYS believing that story. Itโ€™s not true.

A good leader knows we can always & to become a better leader which will in turn help us retain good .

Leigh Branham, author of โ€œThe 7 Hidden Reasons Employees Leaveโ€ revealed that 89% of bosses believe employees because they want more money. As much as any would love this statistic to be true (because it basically pardons any manager from wrong-doing) itโ€™s simply not true.
