🎡 Bob Hall Pier
Spanish Mackerel are being caught at the ends of the pier early in the morning on live shrimp and shrimp lures, with Jack Crevalle still schooling around the end of the pier and a few Kingfish being spotted when the water clears up; a few Blacktip and Bonnethead Sharks are taking cut bait off the pier, Redfish and Speckled Trout are active between the second and third guts during the early morning hours, Whiting are biting FishBites and fresh shrimp around the first and second guts, and Black Drum are feeding at night on cut crab and fresh shrimp. They have also been caught in the afternoon hours.

🌊 Packery Channel & 361 Bridge
Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, and Spanish Mackerel are all being caught around the ends of the jetties during the early morning hours on live bait, silver spoons, and topwater lures. Flounder and Mangrove Snapper are holding tight along the rocks and taking live shrimp or fresh dead shrimp. Near the Highway 361 Bridge, Redfish and Speckled Trout are showing up early in the middle of the channel on live shrimp, croaker, and cream-colored paddletails, while a few Flounder have also been caught closer to shore on live shrimp

🎣 Corpus Christi
Red dot pier Black Drum have been one of the better targets, especially after dark. Fresh dead shrimp, FishBites, and pieces of cut crab fished close to the bottom have been the better choices. Look for Redfish and Sand Trout around the deeper channel during the early morning and evening hours. Live shrimp on a Carolina rig or under a popping cork is a good bet. Speckled Trout remain the main target around grass edges, deeper channels, potholes, and areas holding bait. Live shrimp, croaker, and soft-plastic paddletails are all good choices. Redfish should be worked around shallow grass and channel edges early before the heat turns on. A few Flounder can also be found along shorelines and drop-offs on live shrimp or paddletails. Trout responding well to live bait, with Black Drum available on crab and Redfish on live shrimp and paddletails.

🏖️ Padre Island National Seashore
From Beach Marker 20 to 50, Redfish have been good on FishBites, fresh shrimp, and cut bait, especially around cuts, washouts, and blocked guts, while Whiting and a few Tripletail are being caught on FishBites and FishGum, Trout are producing early in the first and second guts on silver spoons, live shrimp, and croaker, Tarpon and Kingfish are showing around the Port Mansfield Jetties on both the channel and surf sides, large sharks have been good past Beach Marker 30 on cut stingray and Jack Crevalle baits around 400 yards offshore, Yarborough Pass near Beach Marker 15 has been producing Black Drum very early during high tide on fresh shrimp, and the shipwreck near Beach Marker 51 has seen early-morning Redfish and Trout action on topwaters and silver spoons.

⚓ Port Aransas Jetties
Bull Redfish and slot Redfish have been stacked up around the tips of the jetties, especially the North Jetty, with live bait and live shrimp working well, while large silver spoons have been producing Bull Reds and 1-ounce silver spoons have been good for slot-sized fish; schools of Jack Crevalle have also been working the channel side near the jetty tips on large spoons and live bait, Trout have been holding between the second and third guts along the surf side during the early morning hours on live shrimp, paddletails, and small silver spoons, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, and Lane Snapper are all being caught around the jetties, in-town seawalls and piers are producing Black Drum and small sharks, and Flounder gigging has been excellent back in the flats at night with the lighter winds.
