🍁Hey there! Ep. 268 with guest Laura Bratton is available. Although she went through a severe life change (losing her sight), Laura has found ways to not just cope but thrive. Her ability to tell her story AND empower others is inspiring. Catch the conversation as we touch on where she came from, how she experienced a seemingly life-shattering change, and how she began to perceive a new manifestation of spiritual understanding.

As a Methodist pastor, speaker and author, she has positioned herself to help others reframe everything from disappointments to tragedies. She's a conduit of unconditional love who truly speaks from experience rather than from assumption about the human condition.

Rowan Foxx, esteemed Proprietress and rebel priestess of 🌟The Tea Leaves & Tarot Parlour in Ashland, is my guest this week.

We're talking all things mystical and magical: a trip to Glastonbury, the magic of Santa Cruz versus Ashland, growing up Catholic, holding steady during a spiritual awakening, generative trance, modes of healing + so much more.

As Marion Zimmer Bradley would say, “And so, perhaps, the truth winds somewhere between the road to Glastonbury, Isle of the Priests, and the road to Avalon, lost forever in the mists of the Summer Sea.”

Hey there! Ep. 266 released this week with guest Seline Shenoy, a blogger, podcaster and author of **The Nomadic Soul**. Seline has long been a world traveler, open to sampling various spiritual paths, philosophies and histories without prejudice. Part of being a conscious traveler is not making up your mind about a place until you get there and breathe the air. I appreciate that Seline was willing to consider the merits of Hinduism, atheism, and the spiritual immensity of ancient Egypt without considering that one might contradict the other.

Catch the conversation as we touch on her early impressions, the nuances of her own philosophy and how to simply live better while embracing this physical life that is rooted somewhere else.

Amita Sharma, co-founder of NourishDoc, is my guest this week. We're talking about women's health and hormonal well-being in addition to Amita's own spiritual path. Her early years were in India, where she and her family connected with a local matriarch-guru (they called her Mataji). This is a great example of grassroots spirituality that is very localized, without conforming to a larger group or organization. Her family, in fact, didn't connect so much to the usual deities associated with Hinduism.

Later on, Amita began to experience and troubleshoot hormonal shifts with spiritual practice and medicine. Though she studied architecture, she ended up moving into a professional space supportive of women's health. Nowadays she not only has a practice but a women's health app as well.

Rolling into Labor Day weekend with ep. 263 and guest Dr. Sunit Gupta! In addition to being a Shihan 5th Degree blackbelt in martial arts, Dr. Gupta has celebrity status as an actor. I know him as a SoCal local who is well-versed in the psychic arts of palmistry, Vedic astrology, holistic health and spiritual counsel.

In this episode, we're digging into his formative years in India. If you're interested in Hinduism, Christ consciousness in relation to India, the Kumbh Mela, Vedic astrology, and the vast world of spiritual beings that assist humanity--you'll like this conversation.

Author and speaker Jo Ann Fawcett is my guest this week. Although she had a 30-year run with the Mormon Church, she parted ways with them after finding more resonance with a spiritual path lacking the confines of religion. She gave marriage quite a go--seven of them in all--and yet having a spouse didn't provide the refuge she had hoped for. With one of her husband's being a funeral director, she developed the ability to tune into departed spirits while attending funerals as a singer. More and more, Jo Ann opened up to other realms populated by other etheric beings.✨ Her understanding of what's out there in the universe was blown wide open.

Catch the conversation as we discuss how her deceased former father-in-law began showing up, ghostly encounters in England, her acquaintance with government related extraterrestrials, elementals + so much more.

🐝✨Pleasure coach Jenn Wodtke is my guest this week. In addition to helping women find fulfillment through connection with their desires, sexuality, and pleasure, Jenn teaches people how to quiet their inner critic and get into their bodies! Amping up personal power and satisfaction is what it's all about. Her Touchless Or**sm Method is an approach that focuses on how to connect with the pleasure already inside us.

Pleasure is a practice on its own--just like Pilates or yoga. Jenn found out over time that sexual energy always ends up leading you to a spiritual root. It's a part of life often neglected, yet it's integrated into overall wellbeing and the ability to find joy.

We're delving in to questions like, are all relationships a bit of a ruse? Are friends better partners? Are men down with divine feminine energy? What about beauty and power? So many threads to contemplate in this rich tapestry of sensual and spiritual harmonies!❤️🥰

🎈Catch ep. 260 with LaserQuit founder and guest Meridee Hlokoff. We're talking about rough times turning to better times with family, and books like The Pillars of Consciousness and the Bhagavad Gita providing inspiration along the way. Meridee herself found success with quitting bad habits like smoking using cold laser therapy, but she built out another platform of support to ratchet up the success rate for her clients. She views addiction as the solution with trauma being the problem.

Regarding plant meds and meditation, she'll talk about some inspiring images and messages that she's received, as well as a method to avoid some of the uncomfortable purging. Whether she's tuning in to an aunt or grandfather on the spirit side, she feels connected by feeling. Like so many of us, she perceives a connection with guides of a higher vibration and intelligence. Her gems of wisdom are practical and profound.

🤸Ep. 259 with guest Alexa Darrin is ready to roll. Her former career saw her directing award-winning documentaries for one of the world's largest video game companies and serving as a creative director at a top LA advertising agency.

More recently, as she recovered from the loss of her sister and best friend, Alexa honed her intuitive skills using what she learned to verify the spirit connection with her sister. She's now doing soul clearings and connecting people with soul blueprints--basically helping them navigate their lives more consciously. We're talking about spirit connections, boundaries, choices leading to empowerment, obligations, manifestation hacks that can be illusory, the power of small yet committed change + so much more.

My guest this week, Earle Birney, is the head of curriculum development and lead teacher with the Yoga Studies Institute. YSI reaches over 10,000 students a year with yoga programs and retreats, meditation teacher trainings, and philosophy workshops.

Earle's journey into Buddhist practice began while he was incarcerated. Books of substance landed in his hands. Ever read a book that changed your life? With Earle, that book was **Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness** by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche, a renowned Tibetan Buddhist scholar and yogi. He hadn't been looking for deities or religion to enlighten him, but Earle could connect with philosophy. Part of our conversation is about how much Buddhist literature is out there untranslated, but even having access to some of it can rearrange your thinking.

We're getting into renunciation, moral codes, core values, digital detox, three years of not speaking, nine stages of meditation ala Kamalasila + so much more. 🧘‍♂️

Hope dealer and author, Justin Shaw, is my guest this week. Justin is a mystical comedian, Dr. of Divinity, and a **Sourcerer** passionate about empowering people to reclaim their self-worth. Following a long battle with substance abuse, PTSD, depression and anxiety disorders, Justin experienced firsthand the redeeming power of Source energy after an incredible experience he will never forget. We're talking shadow work, alternatives to AA, saying no to Sunday school😂, bliss attacks, discernment, crossing a river of change + so much more! You'll find out why Justin reckons we're like a hologram hitting a disco ball, and what we're taking with us from this simulation.

I appreciate his thoughtful approach to healing from a rough ride earlier in life and how he hopes to extend light to others.💫
