Some of the proudest moments in my career haven’t been about awards or big titles. They’ve been those small, unexpected times when the work showed up in the real world.

Like when a family member called to say, “Hey, I just drove past that billboard...didn’t you make that?”
Or sitting with my church group during the Grammys when a commercial I worked on came on TV. That one was wild. I ended up solving a last-minute production issue that literally saved the million-dollar shoot.

And now, I’m uploading a set of TV ads for a local brand, produced right here in our community by a crew of talented local freelancers. And I feel that same sense of pride all over again.

Because it’s not just about seeing the work on screen.
It’s about seeing the people behind it: the collaboration, the hustle, the creativity that makes something real come to life.

What does a typical day look like for me? It's not all lights, camera, and action. Started the day at a chamber referral group, then came home to wild projects happening on the kitchen table. A freelancer stopped by on his way to Denver to grab some specialty gear. Made an appearance at Rotary to hear from a significant economic developer leader in Iowa and asked about film incentives. Quick call to talk about working on a senatorial campaign, and we'll be off soon to a business owner meet-up to congratulate a friend on a new position. Golf tournament Saturday, Dan Osborn event as well. On top of all this, we had a new baby and are planning a pool party for an 8-year-old tomorrow and my grandpa's birthday this weekend.
