Raised on cassette tapes, MTV, house phones, and riding bikes until the street lights came on.

We memorized phone numbers, recorded songs off the radio, and survived family road trips with no GPS and no tablets. 😂

We grew up too wild for social media and too young to escape technology completely.

Saturday mornings were cartoons.
Friday nights were video stores.
And summertime felt endless back then.

We learned independence early because nobody was hovering over us 24/7.
Half the time our parents just said, “Be home before dark.” 😂

And somehow… we made it.

Gen X wasn’t perfect, but it gave us humor, resilience, sarcasm, and stories nobody else will ever fully understand.

I’m Gen X.

We didn’t have therapy… we had “go outside and figure it out.”No GPS. No helmets. No supervision. Just vibes and bad decisions.

Raised on The A-Team, Married... with Children, and whatever chaos Mötley Crüe was cooking up.

We drank from the hose, rode bikes till dark, and somehow survived long enough to become the parents who now say:“Text me when you get there.”

Now I’m 52…I make noises when I stand up, I don’t trust new music,and if you call me after 9pm, somebody better be dead.

Gen X didn’t just grow up…we walked it off.
